Study of folklore and mythology of various cultures of the world as expressed in literature and the arts with emphasis on Greek, Roman, Celtic, Egyptian, Norse, Asian, and African cultures. Through reading, writing, and discussion, we interpret how myth addresses issues such as human origins, value systems, the hero quest, and the desire to tell stories.
